“Looks good from the outside, but the building is not well maintained behind that. The roof has not been fixed and its membrane is leaking into the walls and structure. One renovated, higher-rent apartment is moldy behind the walls. Ventilation is extremely poor, heating is terrible in winter, and the hot water currently runs scalding. Elevator breakdowns are common, and the garage exhaust fans have not worked for years. Not a slumlord, but not a good landlord either. You cannot see the roof from the street, so this relatively good-looking building deserves extra caution.”
